University of Texas PGE is Hiring Undergraduates for Summer Positions

Date: June 4, 2018- August 10, 2018

The University of Texas’ Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering (UT PGE) is hiring current students to work as undergraduate research assistants for a rewarding 10-week summer program. Students will receive a stipend of $4000, paid over the course of the summer. All requirements must be met in order to be considered: have a 3.25+ GPA, have taken at least 45 hours of credit at you current institution (AP credit does not count), not be a current freshmen or graduating senior, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and be enrolled in a four year institution. The Suri program is intended for students who have a strong desire to pursue a Ph.D. in petroleum engineering. If accepted, you must comply with the expectations below. Program expectations: must work full-time at 40 hours/week; be available to start work June 4 until August 10; commit to working 10 weeks (you cannot start late, end early and no vacation days will be allowed); must participate in all activities and events alongside the UT PGE SURI program. Deadline to apply is January 31, 2018.
