The Ogden Honors College is offering a special Spring 2018: HNRS 3035 - Moths to Metamaterials: An Intro to Nano-Optics

This course will introduce the basic principles, applications and latest advances in the area of nano-optics. Students will discover the potential advances nano-scale optics could hold for a broad area of applications, from telecommunication to solid state display, energy and sensing technologies. The course is led by Gordon A. & Mary Cain Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering Professor Kevin McPeak. PHYS 2113 is a prerequisite for HNRS 3035. HNRS 3035 applies to General Group A Elective for Chemical Engineering majors.
